We can now reveal that the producer for the Tank album "WAR MACHINE" is none other than PEDRO FERREIRA, as you know Pedro produced the multi million selling Darkness album "Permission To Land" along with Therapy's latest album. The four tracks mastered so far sound absolutely fantastic and we cannot wait to get the last six songs down.
On the live front Tank have now been confirmed for the Hard Rock Hell Festival at Prestatyn, North Wales. SEE YOU ALL THERE! |

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, apologies for the delay in updating site but we have been very very busy recording our new TANK album “WAR MACHINE” for release this year. We are lucky to have a top name producer at the helm and it is sounding awesome and very heavy. We have a new drummer can he thump the tubs! First gig of 2010 confirmed TANK will play the 'Metal Merchants Festival' in Oslo, Norway on 29-30 January, with more Scandinavian dates to be added.

The reaction of the last three gigs has been fantastic, we would like to thank everyone who has been involved, to all the festival organisers, crew and especially all the fans 'THANK YOU'. Behind the scenes alot of work is going on as you can see shows are now being booked for next year. Mick has just revamped his own home studio ready for the new album and is now using Logic 9 on a Mac. Thanks to Native Instruments for the endorsement deal, Mick uses Guitar Rig 3 also a big thanks to Radial Engineering for the endorsement deal, Mick uses a Tonebone Trimode for live work. Mick and the boys got back from the Headbangers Open Air yesterday after another succesful show. Mick "It was a good show and the fans went mental, we could have played all night for them, thanks to Jurgen and Thomas the festival organisers and especially to the fans"

Mick is now back from playing Sweden Rock with TANK, the boys had a great time and the show was well received. The two new tracks "Phoenix Rising" and "Great Expectations" went down a storm. Mick says thank you to SWEDEN ROCK for looking after us so well and a big thank you to all our FANS.

 This week Mick is completing guitar tracks for Doogie's solo album. The recording is taking place at GEARBOX STUDIOS it is a new state of the art recording studio in London, the engineer is Mark Campbell, work will be completed this coming Friday.Work on the new TANK album is well underway and will also be recorded at GEARBOX STUDIOS. Mark Campbell will be producer/engineer, they all cannot wait to get into action. On the live front for TANK things are very busy at the moment with plans being made for shows this summer. |

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE  TANK will co headline "THE HEAD BANGERS OPEN AIR FESTIVAL" on the 23rd July 2009. The festival is situated near Elmshorn, 40 km from Hamburg, Germany. More gigs are being planned so hopefully it will be a very busy year for TANK. Work has now commenced on the forthcoming new TANK album for release this year. Mick's work on Doogie White's solo album will be completed by the end of January as well as collaborating and playing on two compositions with Doogie Mick will also be playing guitar on another track "COME TASTE THE BAND". |

Take cover TANK are back in action!
The legendary British power metal mercenaries have re-grouped and are ready for battle once more. The release of the ‘Dogs of War’ boxed set earlier this year on Metal Mind Productions was a great success which led to the inevitable re-release of the entire back catalogue. This has proved very popular with the die hard fans of old and helped to amass a new army of young fans worldwide. TANK are now very much in demand on the live front after being absent from the touring circuit for several years. With an unmistakable attitude and energy to their trademark sound, TANK now has a new all-star line-up fully equipped to crush everything in their path. Joining Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans on guitars will be original TANK drummer Mark Brabbs a very welcome return. Two new recruits will now be joining the ranks. Ex Richie Blackmore’s Rainbow/Yngwie Malmsteen frontman, Doogie White, will be taking care of all vocal duties and ex Bruce Dickinson band bass player, Chris Dale, completes the line-up. Unfortunately original TANK vocalist/bassist, Algy Ward, has decided to retire from active service and will concentrate his efforts on writing his autobiography we wish him all the best. This new line-up will prove to be a major force to be reckoned with and will add a new dimension to the unmistakable TANK sound, driving them forward, unstoppable into 2009. On the music front Mick has today uploaded guide guitars and click tracks for his two songs on the forth coming Doogie White solo album to Pontus Norgren's studio in Sweden.
The working titles are:'TIMES LIKE THESE' and 'DISHIN THE DIRT' Top drummer Thomas Brohman will be handling drumming duties for the album. |

Mick and Cliff Evans (TANK) will be appearing at the 'KEEP IT TRUE FESTIVAL' in Germany on the 24th/25th April 2009. They have joined forces with TOM ANGELRIPPER from SODOM and a drummer T.B.A. They are going to play two classic Tank tracks 'This Means War' and 'Don't Walk Away'. Mick: it will be nice to see our old friend Tom again, have a few beers and "kick some ass".

Mick is now working with ex Rainbow/Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist Doogie White (www.doogiewhite.com) on his new solo album project. Mick: I sent Doogie a couple of songs about twelve weeks ago and we just started jamming over the internet (great fun), so far we have got five songs together. Doogie asked me if he could use two of my songs on his solo album. I am very excited about this Doogie is a world class singer and he has assembled some pretty awesome musicians to work on his album. Craig Goldy (Dio), Rudy Sarzo/ Neil Murray (Whitesnake), Greg Smith (Rainbow/Ted Nugent), Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen), Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall), Walter Giardino (Rata Blanca). It is being recorded in Stockholm, Sweden with Pontus Norgren at the production helm. I am really looking forward to playing on the album.
